In Zusammenarbeit mit Grundschulkindern in der tibetischen Präfektur Yushu präsentieren die in New York lebende chinesische Komponistin und Performerin Du Yun und ihre Band Ok Miss einen explosiven Bruch mit mündlich überlieferten Traditionen, die neu erzählt werden.
Aufbauend auf Du Yuns mehrjähriger Initiative mit diesen Schulen und ihren Schüler*innen führt die Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen Musiker*innen zu einer Neuinterpretation der lokalen Kunstformen. Für Pantopia hat die Pulitzer-Preisträgerin ein Programm zusammengestellt, das musikalische Traditionen in die Zukunft führt.
