Pavle Popović
Pavle Popvić completed his Bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade; previously he studied (2015-2017) at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt with Michael Sanderling and Jan Ickert. In 2018, he won the audition for the tutti cello in the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2018 Pavle is a member of the ensemble Metamorphosis.
From 2019 to 2022, Pavle was a scholarship recipient of the Albert Eckstein Foundation in Ulm. The foundation generously provided him with cellos by Joseph Anton Haff and Antonio Rovetta for his personal use. As an orchestral and chamber musician, Pavle participated in numerous internationally renowned festivals, such as the 29th, 30th and 31st International Survey of Composers (Belgrade), the 26th Ring Festival (Belgrade), the Piano Loop Festival (Split), the Musikwochen Millstatt, the 4. Musiktage (Feldafing), Pantopia Festival Vol. 2 (Berlin), KlangArt-Vision (Magdeburg) and multiple participation (2015-2019) in the chamber music course "colluvio" at Gut Hornegg, Austria. In addition to his career as a classical musician, Pavle is also active in the field of jazz and world music - as a member of Quinary Jasna Jovićević and Art Family Ensemble.
