Aleksandra Stanić

Aleksandra Stanić was born in Belgrade, where she also studied viola at the Faculty of Music with Prof. Dejan Mlađenović. She continued her musical education by participating in chamber music and baroque music courses in Serbia and abroad. Between 1995 and 2005, she was a member of the Skovran Chamber Orchestra and many other chamber ensembles and string quartets, including the Renaissance Ensemble Belgrade. She performed at numerous concerts and festivals in Serbia and abroad.

Since 2010 she is a member of the ensemble Metamorphosis. Besides classical music, she is also active in other musical genres and performance art. For many years she collaborated with DAH Theater as a musician and actress. She was a member of the band Secondhanders, for which she wrote and performed her own music and directed their performances. She also works as a session musician. Since 2005 she has been a permanent member of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra.
