Miloš Stevanović

Miloš Stevanović was born in 1997 and started playing the violin at the age of 7. He began his studies in the class of Prof. Milutin Nikolić at the Music School "Mokranjac" in Belgrade. In the third grade he transferred to the music school "Kosta Manojlović" in Zemun. Music School in Zemun to the class of Prof. Sanda Dramićanin. He was also accepted into the "Musical Talents" department of the same school and began working with Prof. Ivana Aćimoski-Žikić. He continued his work with the same professor at the Academy of Music in Belgrade.

He participated in various master classes and was taught by numerous professors, including Orfej Simić, Tatiana Balashova, Igor Coretti Kuret, Blagorodna Taneva, Alex Robson, Terje Moe Hansen, Lihay Bendayan, Stefan Milenkovich, Svetlana Makarova, Pavel Vernikov and others.

He has won numerous awards, of which the following are particularly noteworthy:

First prize - International Violin Competition "Petar Konjovic" in Belgrade;
Second prize - International Violin Competition "Ohrid Pearls" (also won the special prize - scholarship to the University of San Francisco in the USA);
First prize (laureate) - Republican Competition in Belgrade;
First prize - International Competition for Strings in Niš;

In 2017 he was a member of the EUPHONY Youth Orchestra under the direction of the famous Dutch conductor Ed Spanjaard.

 

He regularly plays in orchestras and ensembles. Some of them are: Symphony Orchestra of Vojvodina, Symphony Orchestra of Montenegro, Ansamble "Metamorfozis", "Belgrade Simfonicas", Orchestra "Kamerata Serbica", Chamber Orchestra "St. George" and others.

 

Since 2019, he has been a guest musician of the world-famous Russian orchestra "MusicAeterna" conducted by Maestro Teodor Currentzis. With them, Milos has performed in some of the biggest halls and festivals in Europe and Russia, such as.B: "Perm Opera", "Great Hall" of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, "Zaryadye" Hall in Moscow, "Philharmonie de Paris", "Bozar" Hall in Brussels, "Kölner Philharmonie", "Grand Théâtre de Genève", "St. Mark's Church" in Milan, "Grand Concert Hall" in Paris. Markus in Milan, "Grand Concert Hall" in Athens, "Grand Théâtre du Provance" in Aix de Provence (Festival de Paques), "Luzern Festival" KKL Hall in Lucerne, "Konzerthaus" and "Musikverein" in Vienna, "Philharmonie am Gansteig" in Munich, "Philharmonie Luxembourg", "Dortmunder Philharmonie", "Elbphilharmonie" in Hamburg, "Kölner Philharmonie", "Concertgebouw" in Amsterdam etc.
At present he is studying with Prof. Pavel Vernikov at the University "MUK" in Vienna and is preparing for his doctorate in Belgrade.
