Martin Nagy

Tenor Martin Nagy first received a solo engagement at the Eduard von Winterstein Theater in Annaberg-Buchholz after studying school music at the Stuttgart Academy of Music, majoring in violin and voice, lied class and opera. Since 1994 he has been a freelance concert and opera singer. Numerous radio and CD productions document his path as a soloist. A main focus and at the same time invigorating counterpoint to his activity as an oratorio singer today is his work with the Neue Vocalsolisten, which he co-founded 37 years ago.
