Djordje Milosevic
Djordje Milosevic, cellist (Belgrade, 1979). Graduate of the class of Prof. Sandra Belić at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. He studied at the National Conservatory of Music in Luxembourg in the class of Professor Claude Giampellegrini and received a scholarship from the Luxembourg Ministry of Culture and Education. During his studies he won numerous prizes at national and international competitions. He is a co-founder and member of several prominent Serbian and international chamber music ensembles, with which he has given numerous concerts in Serbia and abroad. Since 2004 he has been playing baroque cello regularly, interpreting baroque music in an authentic way. In recent years he has devoted himself to the works of contemporary Serbian composers. He has performed many new works for cello by local composers. He has made recordings for Serbian Radio and Television, as well as international recordings, of which those for ERT and the European Broadcasting Union are noteworthy. He is a member of the Association of Music Artists of Serbia. Since 2008 he has been a member of the ensemble Metamorphosis.
