Dariya Bai

Daria Bai is a folk artist and drummer from the village of Vishala in Rajasthan, India. Her great passion is the dhol, a tubular drum from the Central Asian region. Her father played the kamayacha and her aunt taught her to sing. Bai's first singing performances were at weddings and other celebrations until folk artist Komal Kothari invited her to sing a song for him. Since then, Bai has performed all over India as well as beyond.
