Daniel Eichholz
Daniel Eichholz is a percussionist. He studied classical percussion at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg and at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. He completed his concert exam with distinction. In addition to his passion for classical and contemporary music, he has been active for years in the electronic music scene and in pop and rock as a live and studio drummer and composer. He collaborates with many important composers, including Wolfgang Rihm, Helmut Lachenmann and Sarah Nemtsov. He also performs with renowned orchestras and ensembles such as the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. As a drummer, he plays with the multiple gold award-winning 2raumwohnung, Squintaloo, Schulz und Soehne and has worked as a studio drummer for Marlon, Tenement and Tocotronic, among others. Concert tours have taken him as far as China, South Africa and North America.
