Liam Byrne

Liam Byrne plays viola da gamba and often combines his 17th century instrument with newer musical styles, e.g. in collaboration with Nico Muhly, Donnacha Dennehy or Shara Nova. He also works with early music ensembles such as the Huelgas Ensemble and has created sound installations for the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Dulwich Picture Gallery.
