Deva Schubert

Deva Schubert is a dancer and choreographer living in Berlin. She studied dance and choreography as well as visual arts. Her work explores the dynamics of interactions - particularly through the use of various technologies as performative tools at the intersection of installations, digital media, and performances that combine dance and voice. In 2018-2020, she was an artistic member of the Creative Europe project Moving Digits. In 2020, she was nominated for the International DanceWEB Scholarship. She is currently part of the project "Patterns in between Intelligences", which explores the intersection between AI and performance as part of Link Masters with support from the Volkswagen Foundation. Her latest piece "Sisters of Algolore" premiered at Radialsystem in January 2022.
